📄️ Settings and Launch
The Tools tab contains a menu of available tools on the left and a table with individual settings for each tool.
📄️ Filter Block
Starting from this and future versions, the filter has been moved to a separate block shared across all tools.
📄️ Remove Empty Values
Empty Values typically appear due to operator mistakes. The most common causes are:
📄️ Remove Broken Links
Some database tables created by the module are not "native" to OpenCart. The platform's standard tools do not properly modify data in these tables. Although users are advised to manage attributes exclusively through Attribut&co, some ignore this recommendation. Manual deletions can result in links to non-existent attributes, causing errors instead of displaying the attribute tree.
📄️ Attribute and Group Defragmentation
During operation, Attributes and Groups are frequently added and removed. Due to the way databases work, records in a table are inserted following an auto-increment rule. As a result, large gaps can appear in the attributegroupid numbering.
📄️ Attribute Sorting
This tool sorts attributes according to the sorting order of their groups, organizing the attribute list into a structured format.
📄️ Remove Unlinked Attributes
As a result of parsing, automated price list imports, and other operations, duplicate Attributes or Attributes that are not linked to any product often appear.
📄️ Merge Duplicates
Duplicate Attributes can appear due to parsing, automated price list imports, or content manager errors. This tool allows you to merge duplicates without losing links to products or categories. A filter must be applied. The action will be performed for the Groups selected in the filter block.
📄️ Category Attributes
This tool is especially useful for those installing the module on an existing store, particularly one with a large number of categories and products, as well as for those working with data parsing. Manually creating Category Attributes is a time-consuming process, and when parsing, it's often unclear which Attributes a product will include.
📄️ Clear Tree Cache
During module operation, it was discovered that on stores with a large number of Attributes, tree structures load slowly. Since data synchronization forces trees to reload whenever any data changes, performance can suffer. To speed up tree loading, caching is used. Each tree is cached in a separate file. If the tree settings match the cached version and no data changes have occurred, the tree will be loaded from the cache file.
