Adding Values to Product
Values are added to a product using a specific Method, depending on the settings.
| Attribute Values | Description |
|---|---|
Clear | All attribute values are deleted. |
Keep | Saves existing values without changing. |
Overwrite | All values are replaced with the default template. |
Empty only | Protects filled fields. Only empty values are replaced with the default template. |

Substitution values (default template) are taken from the Duty Template, if it is not empty.

Attribute values can be edited directly in the tree node using the inline editor, just like in the product form.

If the Add Category Attribute to Products option is disabled, then the Add Attribute Values to Product settings will not work.
When Values Are Added
These actions lead to adding or modifying an Attribute Value in a product:
- adding an attribute to a category;
- assigning a product to a category;
- using the Category Attributes tool;
- clicking the Category Attributes button in the product form;
