Category Attributes
Integration with the product page allows automating the process of adding Category Attributes to a product.
Category Attributes are added at the moment a product is “linked” to a specific category. Physically, this happens when you double-click a category in the category tree, provided that the Add attributes automatically checkbox is checked.
Category Attributes are removed when the product is “unlinked” from a category. Removing Attributes requires confirmation in a pop-up window. If the Remove attributes automatically checkbox is checked, removal will occur without confirmation.
To add all Attributes of all categories a product is linked to, use the Category Attributes button.
The addition of Category Attribute Values, or more precisely, their Duty Templates, to a product follows the Value Insertion Method.
Everything described above regarding the addition of Category Attributes and their Values applies to a single, specific, editable product.
If you need to add Category Attributes to all products within a category, use Drag'n'Drop and other features of the module, or use the Category Attributes tool.
